Managing Data Extentions

To view incoming and outgoing message records in the Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Mogli Technologies has created and owns four Data Extensions within your SFMC instance. This folder cannot be deleted.

All the data extensions are placed in the folder: MogliCustomDX.

  • IncomingMessages

  • OutgoingMessages

  • MogliURLTracker

  • MogliCallbackTracking


How to Manage Data Extensions

To view the data extensions

  1. Click "Contact Builder"

  2. Click "Data Extensions"

  3. Click "MogliCustomDX"

To view all messages sent out from marketing cloud,

  1. Click "OutgoingMessages".

  2. you can check the messages under records: Click "Records"

To view messages received by clients,

  1. Click "IncomingMessages"

  2. Click "Records"

  3. Click "MogliURLTracker"

To view the personalized engagement tracking of the messages sent to customers,

  1. Click on MogliURL Tracker

  2. Click Records

  3. Click "OutgoingMessages"


Disable the Ability to Delete Data Extensions

  1. Navigate to each data extension.

    Data Extensions:

  • IncomingMessages

  • OutgoingMessages

  • MogliURLTracker

  • MogliCallbackTracking

  1. Click Edit.

  2. Uncheck all the boxes here to ensure no user in your org deletes the data extensions and click Save.

  3. Repeat for each Data Extension.
