  • Use pre-built Templates.

  • Insert Emojis and attach Files.

  • Click through different conversations in your list—the chat panel updates instantly without reloading the page.

Filtering Messages

The Mogli Hub offers powerful filtering options so you can focus on the conversations that matter most. All filtering options are located in the Filters dropdown at the top of your message list.

Standard & Object Filtering

By default, you can filter your inbox by:

  • Unread Only: Shows only your unread messages.

  • Salesforce Objects: Filter by specific records (like Leads or Contacts) configured by your administrator. You can select multiple objects at once to see a combined view of those conversations.

Gateway Filtering

If your organization uses multiple phone numbers (Gateways), you can filter your feed to only see messages from specific lines:

  1. Click the Filters dropdown and select Gateways.

  2. In the window that appears, use the search bar to find a Gateway by name or phone number.

  3. Check the boxes next to the Gateways you want to view, then click Save.

  4. The filter icon will light up to show a Gateway filter is active. This preference will stay active for your entire login session.

⚠️ Note: If your System Admin has set your system to "User's Assigned Phone Number" mode, you will only see the Gateways specifically assigned to you.

Custom Field Filters

(Available to Full Access and System Admins) You can filter your messages using specific Salesforce details (like Contact Status, Lead Region, or Case Priority):

  1. Click Add Filter Field in the filter menu.

  2. Select the field you want to filter by. The Hub automatically displays the correct input style (e.g., dropdowns for picklists, calendars for dates, or text boxes for names).

  3. Using Multiple Filters: If you add more than one filter, you can select Custom Logic to group them (example: 1 AND (2 OR 3) )

  4. Active filters will appear as clickable "pills" at the top of your list. Click the X on any pill to remove that filter instantly.

Saved Filters

If you find yourself setting up the same filters repeatedly, you can save them to your personal sidebar for one-click access.

Creating a Saved Filter

(Available to Full Access and System Admins)

  1. Set up your desired filters in the message list.

  2. Click Save in the filter bar.

  3. Type a name for your filter in the pop-up window and click Save.

  4. Your new filter will appear in the left sidebar. The system will automatically generate a colorful avatar using the initials of the name you chose (e.g., "Hot Leads" becomes HL).

  • Default View: The All Messages filter is always at the top and cannot be changed or deleted.

  • Active Filter: The filter you are currently viewing is highlighted with a blue left border.

  • Unread Badges: A blue badge next to a Saved Filter shows how many unread messages match that specific view.

  • Collapse Sidebar: Click the collapse button to hide the names and show only the circular avatars, giving you more screen space.

Managing Your Saved Filters

(Standard users can reorder and rename their personal sidebar. System Admins can manage global layouts).

Click Edit Mode in the sidebar to:

  • Reorder: Drag and drop your Saved Filters to arrange them.

  • Rename: Click on a name to type a new nickname for that view.

  • Delete: Click the delete option to remove a Saved Filter you no longer need.

Permissions

Limited Access users do not have access to create or edit saved filters. They simply can use the conversation view and access the Saved Filters that have been created for them.

Global Filter Templates

System Administrators can create and push "Global Templates" to everyone's workspace.

  • To Add a Template: Click Add Template at the bottom of your sidebar to browse pre-made templates created by your admin.

  • Automatic Updates: Global templates are marked as "Read-Only" and "Managed by Admin." If an admin updates the rules of a global template, your sidebar will automatically update in the background.

Notifications & Alert Settings

Never miss an important message! You can customize exactly how and when you are alerted for each of your Saved Filters.

Enabling Alerts

  1. Hover your mouse over any Saved Filter in your sidebar. A Bell icon will appear.

  2. Click the bell to change its status:

    • Solid Bell (Active): You will hear an audible chime and see a notification banner in the Hub when a new message matches this filter.

    • Outline Bell (Muted): You will not receive special alerts for this filter.

Global Audio Mute

If you want to keep visual notifications but silence all sound effects, click the Mute/Speaker icon in the top header of the Mogli Hub.
