Purchasing International Numbers

Acquiring a virtual international number is a separate process that is often required to establish a local presence in a new market. This process is highly dependent on the destination country's regulations and can require extensive documentation to verify your identity and location.

The typical process involves:

  1. Verifying Identity The provider will request a series of documents to comply with local regulations. This is often part of a Know Your Customer (KYC) process.

  2. Completing Registration Once documents are approved, you can purchase andactivate the number.

For example, requirements vary significantly by country:

  • Brazil You may be required to provide a business tax number (CNPJ) and proof of a valid address within the country.

  • India Requirements vary by the type of organization, but can include a PAN card, certificate of incorporation, partnership deeds, and utility bills.

  • Germany To get a local number, you may need a local business address and documents like a company registration extract. For other number types, a copy of a passport or ID and a signed registration form may be sufficient.
